Kapok Air®
Emotion and Values
Kapok Air is born from a plant-based fiber that grows spontaneously, without the need for pesticides or intensive irrigation. It is 100% natural, biodegradable, and renewable. Choosing Kapok Air means wearing and living with materials that respect the skin, the environment, and animals, while offering a unique natural comfort — so light it feels like air.
Technical Features
Kapok is one of the lightest natural fibers in the world: 80% of its structure is air. It is naturally thermoregulating, keeping warmth in winter and freshness in summer. Thanks to its waxy surface, it is water-repellent. It is hypoallergenic and antibacterial, resisting mold and mites, making it ideal for sensitive skin. It is breathable, preventing humidity and bad odors, and it is durable: it keeps its shape and properties
over time.
Comparison with competitors
Compared to goose down, Kapok Air does not involve animal use, does not cause allergies, and does not lose volume over time. Compared to polyester, it contains no plastic, is biodegradable, has a lower environmental impact, and offers greater breathability and natural comfort. In short, Kapok Air is the ethical and sustainable alternative that combines comfort, performance, and environmental respect.
Commitment and Applications
Kapok Air can be used in apparel — jackets, coats, sportswear, accessories — and in home textiles, such as duvets, pillows, and padded furniture. But our commitment goes beyond the product: we aim to measurably reduce the environmental impact of the textile sector. Each garment or product filled with Kapok Air means less plastic, less animal exploitation, and more real sustainability in everyday life. We believe that the future of textiles lies in renewable materials and low-impact production processes, and we are committed to making that vision a reality.
